    主題：英美國家歷史到各期流行歌曲VS英語教育
    提要：從歌曲中領(lǐng)略美國歷史,、愛爾蘭歷史、新西蘭歷史,；
          福斯特的人文主義,，學(xué)習(xí)英語短文的文風(fēng)，聽力訓(xùn)練；
          黑人靈歌的特點(diǎn),，一個(gè)世紀(jì)來的美國流行歌曲變遷,，

    主題：英美國家音樂與文化視聽說（中英雙語）
    提要：從歌曲中領(lǐng)略英美歷史,，澳大利亞,、夏威夷文化；
          聽力訓(xùn)練,；
     黑人靈歌的特點(diǎn),，二次大戰(zhàn)中的反戰(zhàn)歌曲， 美國早期民歌,，百老匯歌曲的特點(diǎn),。
    對(duì)象：2017屆藝術(shù)類研究生

    主題：英美國家文化之旅：英美國家流行歌曲欣賞與英語學(xué)習(xí)
     提要：從歌曲中我們領(lǐng)略：愛爾蘭，蘇格蘭,，澳大利亞,，新西蘭，威爾斯文化歷史,；
      美國流行歌曲的變遷,，黑人靈歌特點(diǎn)，50年代搖滾歌曲,；
      歌曲的聽力訓(xùn)練,。

    艾思祺(Seegee AYE)教授，畢業(yè)于香港浸會(huì)大學(xué),，曾留學(xué)加拿大,，先后在蒙特利爾Sir George Williams 大學(xué)和Concordia大學(xué)取得數(shù)學(xué)碩士學(xué)位和藝術(shù)學(xué)士學(xué)位（主修電影輔修音樂），并長期在Dawson College 和Champlain College任教數(shù)學(xué),。早在上個(gè)世紀(jì)80年代,，即從事國際音樂和電影交流活動(dòng)：如參與香港影片《秦俑》制作，與蒙特利爾國際電影節(jié)主席羅西克先生合辦《中國電影回顧展》,。
    從本世紀(jì)開始在中國教學(xué)期間,，艾思祺結(jié)合互聯(lián)網(wǎng)，經(jīng)常做系列音樂講座,，長期來一直受到廣大音樂愛好者的歡迎,。
    2016年，艾思祺教授完成了600頁巨著,，SONGS AS A PART OF ENGLISH CULTURE,，由國內(nèi)頂級(jí)音樂理論家、教育家廖乃雄作序,，從英美國家歌曲入手,，獨(dú)特的視角挖掘英美國家語言,、歷史、文化,，不但具有音樂,、文化價(jià)值,，對(duì)英語教學(xué)作用非凡,。實(shí)屬國內(nèi)首創(chuàng)。本次來我校舉辦三場講座,，即針對(duì)師生們教學(xué)所需,，開拓視野，機(jī)會(huì)難得,。
     
    英文簡介參考
    Seegee Aye was born in Shanghai and educated in Hong Kong and Canada.  Having received 4 degrees including a BFA in Cinema and Music, Prof. Aye started teaching Mathematics in Canada and held the post for 26 years before taking an early retirement and teaching in China. Though teaching Mathematics is his profession, he had been receiving music education since early age and never stopped involving music activities, for examples, playing string quartet in Hong Kong Batist University and the violin in Concordia University Symphony Orchestra in Canada, taking a part of Montreal International Music Competition (Piano, Violin and Voice) and offering music lectures to music lovers on the net in China.
    His late book published last year SONGS AS A PART OF ENGLISH CULTURE seriously explores the integration of songs into the English language education. 
    Learning a language is actually to approach a foreign culture of which songs are a part. The public including students and teachers of our schools is more or less indulged in pop culture, American pop songs.
     The book tries to offer a new direction, a new look to the traditional songs, songs with cultural value, music value which are more important to English teachers. As a language teacher, you don't have to like them, but you must know them.  The book is highly praised by the top music scholar Liao Naixiong (廖乃雄）because this book is the first of that kind in China, and it is very important for English language learners and particularly for English teachers.
